Natural White Royal Quinoa has its superfood origin since the time of the ancient Incas and with that tradition, it has now become synonymous with taste, health, and fitness offering several eating options which are as flexible as the lifestyle we are leading.
It is packed with essential nutrients, amino acids, protein, and fiber giving you a great alternative to everyday products to be included in your diet. Its distinct nutty and earthy flavor along with fluffy texture upon cooking makes it an ideal ingredient for soups, salads, garnishing, and of course as an alternative to white rice.
Use: 2 Cups water per 1 cup dry quinoa Add 1 tsp oil if desired.
1. Soak quinoa for 15-20 minutes. 2. Rinse thoroughly and drain water. 3. Add water in a wide pot and heat on low uncovered. 4. Once the water is at the level of the quinoa, cover the pot. 5. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
1. Prep Quinoa same as above. 2. Use a microwave safe dish or rice cooker. Heat for 15-20 minutes on medium heat covered. Serve hot.
