Industrial Production Manager:

Position is for an Industrial Production Manager with a wholesale manufacturer and distributer of specialty foods. Duties include, but are not limited to: planning production and managing production activities at manufacturing plant site, which, in part, involves managing various raw materials to ensure sufficient product availability while anticipating quantities of future orders for each specific product based on past trends and taking product shelf-life into account to prevent loss of revenue resulting from overstock of raw materials; ensuring optimal allocation of resources and materials needed to meet production goals by coordinating with Procurement Teams to ensure that all raw materials needed for production are obtained from domestic and international supply chains; reviewing and responding to RFQs (requests for quotes) from suppliers and determining; preparing budget baselines and ensuring that procurements do not exceed the parameters of the budget baselines; balancing consumption patterns with production constraints, which includes analyzing supplier lead times and MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities); developing protocols pertaining to quality assurance and oversight of on-site production quality management, which, in part, requires performing statistical calculations to analyze levels of variance observed during past periods of batch production and reviewing instances of deviations from pre-established levels of permitted thresholds pertaining to product quality measures to diagnose and ascertain the cause of any past problems relating to product quality; responsible for coordinating with third-party vendors for the purpose of managing maintenance and regular calibration existing plant equipment/machinery; researching emerging technologies to improve the plant's automated production capabilities; and preparing project stakeholder matrices and regular communication with project stakeholders.

Requires a Masters Degree in Project Management.
