Green Tea Infused with Lemon and Pomegranate

After all the feasting through the Thanksgiving dinner, you might want to take a break and rejuvenate. A hot cup of green tea could be a great fit for this purpose with the natural soothing feel that is associated with it, since the refreshing nature of this delicious drink is somewhat a healthy substitute to milk tea.

We bring to you a new, interesting touch to the original: green tea infused with lemon and pomegranate.

So, let’s get on with the making.

Ingredients

  • 2Organic Indian Green Tea Bags
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 thin slices of smashed ginger
  • 1 to 2 lemon wedges
  • 1/4 cup lightly crushed pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tablespoons honey or any sweetener of your choice to taste

Let’s get into making

  • In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Make a healthy concoction with green tea, lemon wedges, ginger, and pomegranate seeds.
  • Once the water starts boiling, remove the concoction from the heat and let it sit for a minute or two.
  • Add honey or any sweetener of your choice. Strain it out in a cup and enjoy it hot.

Serve some great green tea infused with the taste of lemon and pomegranate and enjoy the good times with your loved ones. After a hard day at work, this will freshen up your worked up soul and make you feel rejuvenated.
