Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Pride of India Chicken Kebab Seasoning Spice
  • 3 tbsp Pride of India garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Pride of India ginger minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pride of India Pink Salt and black pepper (as per taste)
  • 8 small soft taco shells or tortillas
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, chopped cilantro, lime wedges, etc.

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the Chicken Kebab Seasoning Spice, minced garlic, minced ginger, and olive oil until well combined.
  • Add the thinly sliced chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the spice mixture. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 20-30 minutes (or longer for better flavor) in the refrigerator.
  • Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil if needed to prevent sticking.
  • Once the pan is hot, add the marinated chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
  • In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed, then sauté the sliced red and green bell peppers until they are slightly softened and slightly caramelized.
  • Season the peppers with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  • Warm the soft taco shells or tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  • To assemble the chicken tacos, place a few slices of the cooked chicken onto each taco shell, followed by the sautéed bell peppers.
  • Add any optional toppings you desire, such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Chicken Kebab Seasoning Spice, garlic, ginger, and bell pepper tacos!
  • To assemble the chicken tacos, place a few slices of the cooked chicken onto each taco shell, followed by the sautéed onion and bell pepper mixture.
